Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost touched down in Mare Crisium on 2 March 2025 and operated for a full lunar day, the first fully successful commercial lunar landing after the partial results of Odysseus and the failure of Peregrine. It drilled, vacuumed regolith and filmed a lunar sunset, and returned data on how dust levitates at the terminator.
