At the ceremony on 12 March 2023 it took best picture, director, screenplay and three of the four acting awards. Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian woman to win best actress, and Ke Huy Quan won supporting actor forty years after leaving acting because the roles stopped coming. It cost about 25 million dollars and beat the year's blockbusters.
