Tadej Pogacar won the 2026 Tour on 26 July, joining the four riders who have won it five times — the joint record, Lance Armstrong's seven having been struck from the books. At 27 he is the youngest to reach five, and he had already completed the Giro-Tour double in 2024, which nobody had managed since 1998.
