Pannotia
A short-lived supercontinent forms as Gondwana assembles at the end of the Precambrian.

Around 620 million years ago the fragments of Rodinia converge again into Pannotia, sometimes called the Vendian supercontinent. It is contested — some reconstructions doubt the continents were ever all joined — and it lasted perhaps 60 million years before breaking up as the Cambrian began. Its assembly built the East African Orogen, one of the largest mountain belts ever raised.
